Chemical Data Reporting 2016 Results

May 31, 2017

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is releasing information from its most recent Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) period. Manufacturers and importers of at least 25,000 pounds of chemicals at a single site, must report information about their activity to EPA under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). The latest data shared includes national production volumes, chemical processing, and use information, and manufacturing information for the years 2012 to 2015.

Interested parties have the ability to access all information that is not classified as confidential business information (CBI) or information withheld to protect CBI. Data can be viewed on EPA’s online ChemView database. EPA plans to release more information from the CDR in late 2017 once CBI substantiation requirements are finished.
