TSG Consulting adds epidemiology and environmental health expert, Dr Christine Greene, to antimicrobials team
Dr. Christine Greene, a leader and expert in the epidemiology and environmental health field, joins TSG Consulting as a Senior Scientific Consultant. Christine brings expertise in cleaning, disinfection, and monitoring practices for both the food and health industries.
Senior Vice President and Managing Director of TSG Consulting North America, Erin Tesch, says “Christine’s strong technical expertise as an environmental health scientist and epidemiologist will broaden the scientific services we can offer our clients as well as strengthen our antimicrobials practice. We are excited to have her as a part of our team.”
Dr. Greene has over 10 years of experience studying the environmental survival and transmission of pathogens and understands the complexity of how bacterial transmission can occur across healthcare facilities. Before joining TSG, Christine was a Principal Research Investigator at NSF International. During her time there she led and managed the sanitation and contamination control business group while simultaneously co-founding the Healthcare Infection Transmission Systems (HITS) Consortium.
Christine has been actively engaged in public health research and continues to promote best practices to reduce infections through an integrated approach that focuses on the major pathogen transmission systems including surfaces, person to person, water, and air. Christine continues to work on strengthening current guidelines on environmental disinfection practices and hand hygiene.
A graduate of the University of Michigan, Christine has a PhD in Environmental Health Sciences as well as an MPH in Hospital and Molecular Epidemiology.
