Eva is an expert in plant protection products and their residues in food and feed. She has over 15 years’ experience in registration and regulatory affairs, evaluating active substances for approval at the EU level as well as product assessments for zonal authorisation.
Prior to joining TSG, Eva worked for the INIA (National Institute for Agricultural and Food Research and Technology), the Spanish public research organization authorized for the evaluation of active substances, plant protection products and Maximum Residue Levels (MRL). She managed and drafted scientific documents including registration reports, monographs, addendums, evaluation reports, EFSA opinions, Peer Reviews and Review Reports. She also participated in scientific working groups (Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health (SCoFCAH) and the Pesticides steering committee, as well as in Working Groups about risk management of pesticide residues (PRIMA).
Eva is an agricultural engineer; she has also a degree in food science and technology and a Master’s degree in dietetics and food safety. Eva is currently undertaking a PhD on MRL.
