Miriam is a Senior Consultant in Residues of Plant Protection Products; providing support to clients for EU active substance approval, product assessments, maximum residue levels (MRLs) and dietary risk assessments.
Miriam has ten years’ experience at Syngenta, where she held a variety of technical and team lead roles. Most recently, Miriam worked as a Team Lead and Technical Expert in Consumer Safety; assessing the dietary safety of crop protection products, proposing programs to address techno-regulatory requirements and inputting to regulatory dossiers for EU active substance renewals and product registrations.
Prior to this, Miriam worked in R&D, initially as a Research Scientist, then as a Team Lead, providing technical expertise on insecticide uptake, movement and metabolism in soil, plant and insect pest.
Miriam has a degree and PhD, specialising in plant physiology and plant-insect interactions from the University of Birmingham (with Syngenta).
