Saadia Eltayeb, BS, MS, PhD
Saadia Eltayeb specializes in compliance under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) including new chemical notifications and exemptions, internal auditing and training. She also advises clients on new substance notifications (NSNs) under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA). Additionally, Saadia assists companies with preparing the chemistry information needed to submit food contact notifications (FCNs).
Saadia has more than 20 years of experience preparing and submitting premanufacture notices (PMNs), Low Volume Exemptions (LVEs), polymer exemption determinations and consent order negotiations under Section 5 of TSCA and NSNs under CEPA. She also routinely audits chemical facilities to ensure compliance and provides import and export guidance. Her strong working relationships with government officials at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Health Canada allow her to assist companies in navigating and understanding the changing regulatory landscapes in both the US and Canada.
Saadia has a BS in Chemistry and an MS in Solid State Science from the American University in Cairo. She also has a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of South Carolina.
