Zephyr Papin-Tillery specializes in the compliance of pesticide products including antimicrobials, biopesticides, and conventional chemical pesticides. Her primary area of focus is in the Californian regulation of pesticide products, including new active ingredients. She also has in-depth knowledge of the eligibility requirements for organic input materials and state regulations governing the use of agricultural products in cannabis production.
Zephyr oversees product registrations at the state level for pesticides and adjuvants, develops labels that can be used across all 50 US states and territories, and interacts with state regulators on behalf of companies. She is also able to assess organic input materials for certification eligibility by accrediting agencies. For the production of medicinal and recreational cannabis, Zephyr provides guidance on the use of pesticides, fertilizers, and other agricultural inputs that may be used to grow plants.
