The opportunity
TSG Consulting distinguishes itself by providing the highest possible professional standards in regulatory consultancy services to the chemical and biotechnology industries worldwide. As Accounting Generalist/Office Manager, you’ll directly interface with and actively support the Consulting teams by managing the financial and administrative tasks associated with client regulatory submissions as well as being responsible for the day to day tasks managing the office space. Specifically:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Manage entries in the submissions database including amount to invoice, amount invoiced and amount paid in an accurate and timely manner as directed
• Using standard templates, prepare cost estimates and proposals or clients
• Provide status of accounts to clients, consultants and business as requested
• Credit control/account management, primarily for Sacramento staff, as directed by the Finance Manager based in DC and local business management
• Confirm client funds are available and then raising checks for governmental fees as required
• Daily processing for Sacramento credit card transactions accurately and to agreed deadlines
• Perform requested administrative tasks related to supporting business development activities
• Expense processing and travel arrangements for local staff
• Manage facilities for the Sacramento office (including but not exclusively managing front desk, security, facility maintenance, replenishing office and kitchen supplies, preparing meeting space for client visits)
• Manage office mail, courier services, postage machine and any shipments as required
• Liaise with IT and HR for new or exiting staff members
• Assist central facilities team as requested and serving as primary contact for property managers
• Serve as Health & Safety lead in the office (including Fire Marshalling)

About you
As Accounting Generalist/Office Manager based within the Sacramento office, you will bring a strong blend of accounting and administrative skill with the ability to organize, coordinate and communicate across internal consulting teams, externally with clients and both state and federal regulatory bodies. A strong customer service ethic and ability to multitask is vital for this role. You will present a positive “can‐do” attitude and be a self‐starter within a team of dedicated professionals. This position requires that work be conducted in the Sacramento office during TSGs normal business hours.

• Excellent Customer Service outlook wanting to deliver great service to all
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including SUMIF, VLOOKUP and data manipulation formulae and tools
• Previous experience in a medical, legal or accounting firm a plus.
