253rd American Chemical Society Meeting and Exposition

The American Chemical Society is hosting its 253rd National Meeting and Exposition from April 2-6, 2017 in San Francisco, CA. The theme of this year’s event will be “Advanced Materials, Technologies, Systems, and Processes”.

The exposition provides an opportunity to discuss advanced technologies and to network among the world’s scientific community. This year’s event will feature symposiums and scientific talks on a variety of topics including laboratory safety, chemical management, household chemicals, and material science.

TSG’s senior managing scientist Dr. Luminita Velea will be in attendance. Dr. Velea has more than a decade of experience in study design and monitoring, product chemistry, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). She specializes in analyzing chemical compounds in agricultural commodities and products. She received her M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute at Bucharest and her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Mississippi.
