Disinfectants (NHFPC)

The National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC) regulates all disinfectants in China. Registering disinfectant products intended for public health use, requires data to be generated to support efficacy and safety. Many data requirements depend on claims and are determined on a case-by-case basis. For marketing “common products” in China, a notification is required to be filed with one of China’s Provincial regulatory offices under the NHFPC.
