TSG’s Ailsa Jackson appointed President of the American Board of Toxicology

Congratulations to TSG Consulting’s Ailsa Jackson, BSc, DABT, who has been appointed President of the American Board of Toxicology (ABT). The ABT is a globally-recognized credentialing organization that strives to identify, maintain, and evolve standards for professional competency in the field of toxicology. Ailsa will serve a one-year term.

“I am delighted and honored to serve as the President of the ABT this year,” says Ailsa. “Being a Diplomate and, more recently, serving on the Board of Directors have expanded my horizons within the field of toxicology, as well as my international network of colleagues.” During her year as President, Ailsa’s main focus will be the transition from a pencil-and-paper exam format to an electronic format with multiple centers around the world, as well as promoting the international reach of the qualification. “I am looking forward to an exciting and fruitful year!” she continues.

Steve Ruckman, Head of Human Health at TSG Consulting says: “We are very proud that we get to work alongside Ailsa and congratulate her on her Presidency. Ailsa makes a significant contribution to TSG’s toxicology expertise in all our key areas, from health food ingredients through to biocides and plant protection products. We know that she will be an outstanding President, supporting the ABT in its aim to encourage the study of the science of toxicology.”
