TSG Hires Dr. Emily Saad

Dr. Emily Saad has joined TSG as a Regulatory Scientist. Dr. Saad specializes in the state registration and compliance of fertilizers, amending materials, and pesticides, with a particular emphasis on navigating California’s strict environmental regulations. She also has experience with chemical compliance under California’s Proposition 65.

Dr. Saad received her Ph.D. in Geochemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She has a strong scientific background in the presence and significance of nutrients and contaminants in soils and sediments, including transport, bioremediation, and environmental fate. Her graduate research also included determining if contamination in various ecosystems was anthropogenic or naturally occurring. She brings a wealth of environmental, computational, and analytical knowledge to her new role at TSG.
