Dr Amanda Phelka, BA, MS, PhD
Amanda Phelka has over 25 years’ experience assessing human health risk from occupational and environmental chemical exposure. Amanda is a successful senior project manager with diverse technical experience across several business sectors, including pesticides, drinking water, food, dietary supplements, and sustainability, as well as toxic tort litigation.
At TSG, Amanda provides advanced technical support to clients requiring assistance with evaluating and understanding the human health risk associated with use of their products ahead of submission to regulatory agencies or to determine compliance with federal or state statutes. Specifically, Amanda assists clients seeking registration of pesticide products in the US and Canada, clients needing to evaluate the need to warn under California Proposition 65 and clients preparing and submitting Food Contact Notifications.
Amanda is published in the fields of toxicology, industrial hygiene and occupational health with broader technical research, writing, editing, and peer review experience in the areas of human health risk assessment, risk management and risk communication.
Amanda has a PhD and MS in Toxicology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a BA in Biology and Chemistry from Adrian College.
