The opportunity
The State Renewals Program Manager position is multi-disciplinary and will allow the ideal candidate to contribute to several core business functions including:
• Regulatory Compliance – Managing state registration renewals for pesticides, fertilizers, amending materials, animal feed and pet food
• Personnel Management – Managing a growing team of new, as well as seasoned, regulatory professionals
• Technology Support – Improving efficiencies using a newly launched Appian database to manage high volume workflow
• Business Development – Driving growth to our core client base

Responsibilities include:
• Ensuring client renewals related deadlines are met
• Providing input on staffing needs to ensure sufficient resources during busy periods while maintaining profitability of the renewals program
• Identifying opportunities for growing our client base and interfacing with potential clients directly to sell our business
• Communicating with senior management and our finance team regarding revenue, deliverables, timelines, risk, and opportunities
• Managing a team efficiently to complete a large volume of time critical deliverables cyclically
• Motivating team members to meet deadlines
• Providing guidance to team members to help them realize their career goals
• Providing hands-on assistance with deliverables during busy periods
• Consistently improving processes and Appian database tools to drive efficiency
• Effectively utilizing slower intervals to improve efficiency and ensure resources are in place for high demand periods

About you
As the State Renewals Program Manager, you will bring at least two of the following four skill sets:
• A working knowledge of the regulated products industry
• Experience with personnel management
• Project/program management experience or familiarity with Appian software or similar workflow solutions
• Business development experience and general comfort with selling services

In order to be successful in this role a candidate needs to:
• Have excellent planning skills to stay ahead of renewals needs
• Be comfortable with multi-tasking and be able to maintain composure during high-volume deliverable periods
• Display consistently high attention to detail
• Understand and deliver outstanding customer service
• Able to build strong trusting relationships with both clients and team members through displaying humble confidence in your own abilities
• Proactively drive revenue growth for TSG by being a self-starter and thinking creatively

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s degree in one of the four listed business disciplines (Regulatory Compliance, Personnel Management, Technology Support,Business Development).
• Preferably 3+ years’ experience in one of the four listed business disciplines and 2+ years in another
• Proficient computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Professional. Workflow software experience is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while maintaining confidentiality
