GlobalChem is an annual event that gathers professionals from academia, industry, and government to discuss the testing, manufacturing, management, and regulatory compliance of industrial and specialty chemicals. This year’s agenda includes numerous presentations on key issues for manufacturers and distributors including, new requirements under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), data collection and generation, hazard communication standards under the Globally Harmonized System of Classifications (GHS), environmental challenges of plastic pollution in marine ecosystems, and the management of sustainable materials.
