Re-registration of all pesticides in Idaho required

July 01, 2021

The Idaho State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) will be launching a new online platform for tracking state pesticide registrations. On 25 June 2021, ISDA stopped accepting paper applications and, due to the inability to migrate data from the old to the new system, registrants will now need to re-register all their products through the new virtual system. This must be completed prior to year-end renewals, and preferably before 1 October 2021. ISDA will not be charging a state fee for this re-registration if each product is in good standing with the department at the time of re-registration. In addition, all servicing agencies will need to submit a new Letter of Agency, or Letter of Representation for products currently under their care.

How TSG Can Help

TSG has a full-service State Affairs Office and has been asked by the State of Idaho to be an early user of their system to ensure the platform will perform to standard. TSG can begin this work for you prior to the re-registration peak in Idaho, during which we anticipate state resource constraints if problems are encountered. If you would rather not divert your internal resources to this administrative task, please contact us at [email protected] for assistance.
