US EPA launches new electronic reporting application for TSCA chemical export notifications

July 07, 2021

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has launched a new application in the Central Data Exchange (CDX), to allow users to submit electronic export notifications under section 12(b) of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Under TSCA 12(b), companies are required to notify EPA, prior to exporting, of the chemical identity, shipping date, and the country to which the chemical will be exported. The new application will improve the accuracy and quality of data submitted under section 12(b).

To access the electronic reporting application for chemical export notifications under TSCA section 12(b), log in to CDX here.
