Gary Burin is an internationally recognized expert with over 30 years of experience in regulatory toxicology. Gary specializes in food safety, animal health products, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and pesticides. He has extensive experience working with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and similar agencies in the EU and Canada.
Prior to TSG, Gary worked at the World Health Organization (WHO) where he managed the revisions of guidelines for drinking water contaminants and expert panels such as the Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA). He was also a senior toxicologist in the Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) at the EPA.
Gary has a BS in Biology and an MPH in Toxicology from the University of Michigan and a PhD in Biological Sciences from George Washington University.
