Dr. Jamie Shetzline is a Regulatory Scientist at TSG. She specializes in analytical chemistry and the regulatory compliance of industrial chemicals in the U.S. She has experience with electrotechnical materials such as lithium batteries, fuel cells, films, and polymers, and food contact substances (FCS) and medical devices needing 510k submissions under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act).
Dr. Shetzline assists chemical companies comply with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). She prepares safety data sheets (SDS) for simple and complex mixtures and identifies hazards. Her graduate research in fuel cell development and cost-effective solutions for testing the membrane exchange of protons has given her an understanding of electrotechnical materials and how they pertain to regulations in the U.S. This includes regulations and directives under the purview of the Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Energy (DOE), and Department of Transportation (DOT).
