Julie Ownbey, BS
Julie Ownbey has more than 20 years’ experience in regulatory compliance, product submissions, and developing and deploying regulatory strategies.
Julie specializes in US pesticide compliance with a focus on US EPA federal regulatory approvals for antimicrobial products including, but not limited to sanitizers, disinfectants (swimming pool products, dilutable concentrates, sprays, and wipes) for residential and hospital applications, industrial biocides, wood preservatives, and pesticide devices. She is also experienced with treated article exemptions under FIFRA and has done extensive work with sub-registrations for pesticide products.
With her vast experience, Julie has helped clients successfully develop and implement regulatory strategies with EPA’s approval to help meet the company’s business objectives and gain competitiveness within the marketplace. She has experience ranging from simple product registration to more complex novel projects, which include submission to EPA for protocol reviews for residual sanitizers and disinfectants, supplemental residual activity, and new active ingredient submission including those with nano technology.
Prior to joining TSG, Julie worked with Fortune 500 companies, where she was responsible for managing and implementing regulatory policies and procedures, submitting product submissions to EPA, and managing their product portfolio to ensure the business maintains regulatory compliance and supports the company’s product stewardship goals.
Julie has a BS in Environmental Health from East Tennessee State University.
